Synopsis: Guy Gardner, Warrior, opens a nightclub called Warrior's, and invites every hero in the universe to the grand opening. Most come to celebrate a superhero hangout.

Note on the Covers: The outward cover above actually opens like two glass doors. Inside is the scene inside the bar. Notice the reversed "glass doors" even have a backwards logo and credits!

The comic producers offered a prize to any reader who could identify all the characters. Good luck!

Everyone who's anyone in the DCU shows up for the party. And a good time is had by all as the party is broadcast around the world.

There are many fun interludes: Platinum of the Metal Men, new to poker, wins every game. Lead is invited to become a bouncer. Lady Blackhawk's entrance catches every man's eye.

Who's there? The Sea Devils. Donna Troy as a DarkStar. Aquaman. Judomaster and Thunderbolt. Rex the Wonder Dog, Detective Chimp, Stanley's Monster, and Sam Simian of Angel and the Ape.Wildcat. Mister Miracle and Big Barda.

Another "animal" is Tyrannosaurus X on the cover. Isn't he supposed to be dead? (COTU V3 16)

Lobo crashes the party and he and Guy battle. The brawl spreads. Superman tries to intervene. Brainac 5 accidentally pops in from the 30th Century, is handed a beer, and pops out. Out in the street, uninvited, are Slyvester Stallone, Arnold Schwartzenegger, and Bruce Willis.

Lobo finally settles for drinking every can, bottle, and keg of beer in the place. The party's over.

The current Challs, Ace, Red, and Rocky, make the opening. The inset below shows a closeup.

The poor colorist is confused, and who wouldn't be? At this phase, Rocky wears a purple sweater, right. Ace's hair is white and he wears a white guru outfit with vest. Red's hair should be red, natch, and his T-shirt camo? Hard to say.

Good to see the guys were invited, and could make it. After what they've endured, they deserve a break.
