Another goody is the cover of DC: The New Frontier Trade Paperback. The wraparound covers show a parade of proud heroes. On Volume 1, Ace represents the Challs, so cool in baggy pants and keen sun goggles. For Volume 2, we see June (between Green Lantern's legs) propping up the Manhunter from Mars, who's still woozy from a psychic attack. The covers are supposed to represent the dawn of a new era, then the end of a long scary day, I guess. |
